If you attended the auction, you saw the gorgeous photos that John Hay parent, Theresa Marzio took of your children. These beautiful framed photos were a lovely backdrop on the tables. Each photo was $25. If you accidentally took your child’s photo and did not write down your bid number, please send a check to the Volunteer Office for $25.
If you were unable to attend the auction, but would still like to purchase your child’s photo, please email the Volunteer Office at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, May 20th. Photos will be printed and then available late the following week.
Did your babysitter cancel? No worries! There are still about 10 spots available at Kid’s Co. for night of auction babysitting. Saturday, April 30th from 5-10:30pm. Kids will enjoy a pizza dinner, games and more! 4-12 years old only. $35 for one child/$45 for two/$55 for three. Call Kid’ Co. at 283-8328 to reserve your spot!

Wine Grab — Last year’s wine grab featured 200 bottles of wine…and they sold out. As of today, we only have 30 bottles of wine for the wine grab! WE NEED MORE WINE! Even if you are not attending the auction, you can still help support John Hay. Bring in a $20-$25 bottle of wine to the Volunteer Office and help support your kids!
Dessert Dash – Another great way to support John Hay, even if you are not attending the auction. If you can make a fabulous tart, cake or torte, we need you! Desserts can even be dropped off at Michelle McFarland’s house Friday or Saturday…what could be easier? We have 25 desserts and are looking at about 10-15 more. Please let the Volunteer Office know if you can help! Remember all proceeds support our kids! Thanks!

Volunteers are needed to help in the following areas:
Friday Night Set Up — Help set up tables, chairs from 6-10pm
Saturday Day Set Up – Help needed all day to dress tables, set up silent auction, help decorate, etc.
Saturday Evening – Help with registration needed 5:15-6 pm and 6pm-6:45pm. Help as spotters, runners, etc during event 5:30-11pm.
Even if you are not planning on attending the auction, we can use your help….even an hour or two! Every little bit helps! Remember, all of our children benefit from the funds raised! HAVE YOU BID? YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE ATTENDING THE LIVE AUCTION TO BID ON THE ONLINE SILENT AUCTION! Every dollar goes toward helping fund a need at school. We would love every family to participate that can. There are items as low at $10.00. Please make sure to check out the online auction. Most items are well below retail, at less than half the cost. There are summer camps, spa visits, haircuts, kid parties, gift cards for coffee, dinners, movies and much more.
Take a minute—spend some time and $$$ for our kids to fund Spanish, Music and extra resources that our school needs. We appreciate all of our parents and let’s make our first annual online auction close strong. Go Jaguars!
