This Month’s Theme: Attitude
At this month’s Spirit Assembly, the John Hay Players and Ms. Hanson role-played another fabulous skit with an important message about how one’s attitude can affect one’s learning. They reminded us that
- Attitude is a choice. We learned that Abraham Lincoln said “Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.”
- We can leave a bad mood at the door. Things that happen to us outside of school, that are hard, can be left at the door just like our back packs so that they don’t affect our ability to learn all we can.
- Friends can really help us when we have a bad attitude – so look for the chance to cheer someone up with words and actions of help and encouragement.
