Friends of John Hay Giving Program

The Friends of John Hay is a giving program for our school.  This program provides families and John Hay supporters the opportunity to make donations that will go directly to the school.   Your donations financially support enrichment programs and services not funded by the Seattle School District.  These programs would not be possible without the generous financial and volunteer support of parents, friends and community members:   Smaller class size, Small group instruction in reading and writing in 1st and 2nd grades , 1:1 Reading intervention via Sound Partners Tutors,  Math tutors for grades 2-5,  Drama and Spanish for grades K-5, Pathways (Advance Learning Opportunities) for grades 3-5, Art, library, PE, classroom and technical supplies

HOW TO DONATE: Donate online with your credit card on our secure site at: http://www.seattleschools.org/schools/johnhay/partners/friendsofjohnhay.html or write a check and return it to the school office.  Donations are accepted and welcomed all year round.  No gift is too small.  All donors will be recognized on the Friends of John Hay tree in the entranceway.

MATCHING FUNDS: Matching programs are an excellent way to maximize the dollars you donate to John Hay!  Participating employers match tax-deductible donations and some companies even match for volunteer hours!  Check with your employer, usually through the Human Resources Department, to see if they participate in matching funds. All donations are tax deductible.

We are aware that John Hay families “give” in many ways, and we appreciate all that you do to make our school such an excellent place to learn, to teach and to grow. For more information contact John Burreson at john.burreson@gmail.com.
