The 5th graders of John Hay support their community

One way John Hay 5th graders serve their community is through an annual food drive.  Students will collect non-perishable (canned or boxed) food items this week to benefit the Queen Anne Helpline.

A food drive to benefit those in our community that need assistance –especially during the holidays – is a way to foster our student’s commitment to public stewardship.

If you find a donation bag at your front door on Tuesday, please consider giving generously.  Students will collect donations on Friday, December 3rd.  If you don’t receive a donation bag – or if it is more convenient – please consider dropping off non perishable food items in the marked box located near the John Hay office.

Thank you!

If you have questions or comments – or are able to chaperone a small group of 5th graders November 30th and/or December 3rd from 11:00-12:30 – please contact Kathleen Morris at tkmorris1617@comcast.net.
