The John Hay Partners Board is the decision-making body which represents the school community and is responsible for the combined duties of a PTA, Site Council (governance board), and the John Hay Foundation (fiscal entity). The Board helps to implement and fund the school’s academic plan, participates in policy review, coordinates committee work, and works to enhance the educational experience of all Hay students.
This year 5 parent board positions are up for election. Voting begins Friday, May 21st and ends Tuesday, May 25th. One ballot has been delivered through the classroom to the youngest or only child. Additional ballots are available in the main office. Please submit your completed ballot either in the voting box located in the school office or via your child’s classroom teacher in a sealed envelope marked “Partners’ Ballot.” Election results will be announced no later than May 27th on the John Hay website, the Daily Bulletin and a posting outside the Volunteers’ Office.
