It’s that time of the year to get the Spanish committee going. We are a group of parents, staff and faculty that serve to support the Spanish Program.
Being on the committee involves supporting the Spanish teacher and program in any way that we can. This involves helping with materials in the classroom, helping the teachers to learn the Spanish vocabulary, supporting cultural lessons and events and hosting the Fiesta Fantastica in the Spring.
You don’t have to speak Spanish to join. And you don’t have to have tons of time either. If you can help in any small way, even just for one project at a time, we welcome you.
Maybe you have thought in previous years about joining the committee but haven’t gotten around to it. This is a wonderful year to do it, with the new changes in the program. Spanish is now taught right in each classroom, with the class teachers present. There are many ways to get involved with this and to fire up those high school neurons that are holding those Spanish class memories.

We’ll be setting up our first meeting soon and it will be posted here.
