The John Hay Library will be hosting a Book Fair with books provided by the local bookstore, The Secret Garden. They supply us with a great selection of quality books. John Hay receives 25% of the profits from this event and it is a major source of funding for the year. You will definitely want to stop by the library and take a look!

When? Thursday, October 8th (8:30 a.m.-4:00) and 6:00 – 8:30 pm (Curriculum Night)
(No School Friday)
Monday, October 12th (8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.)
Tuesday, October 13th (8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.)
Students are required to have parental permission to bring money to school and it should be in a secure container. Your student may be bringing home a wish list and if you send a check, it should be made out to The Secret Garden.

We need people to help with set up on Wednesday Oct 7 from 3:30 until it’s done.
We need people to be cashiers each day (Thursday Oct 8, Monday Oct 12 and Tuesday Oct 13) throughout the day:
8:30 – 9:30 am
10:25 – 11:10 am
12:00 – 1:00 pm
1:55pm – 2:10 pm
3:30 – 4:00 pm
We need people to be cashiers Thursday Oct 8 (Curriculum Night)
6:00 – 8:30 pm (let us know what part of this night you can work ie. from 6 – 6:30 pm)
Finally, we will need people to help with the take-down on Tuesday Oct 13 from 4 pm until it’s done. If you would like to help with this event (you know you do!), please e-mail Jackie Simpson (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let her know when you are available to help. It’s a lot of fun!!
